Our Mission
The mission of the Young Marines is to positively impact America's future by providing quality youth development programs for boys and girls that nurtures and develops its members into responsible citizens who enjoy and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
Young Marines learn the value of hard work and discipline but always have fun, and are supervised by registered adults who have each submitted to a thorough background investigation by our National Headquarters. The staff is made up of male and female volunteers comprised of Police Officers, decorated Veterans of the Marines and Army as well as Active Duty National Guardsmen and a handful of civilians. All are dedicated to the service, safety and mentorship of your children.
Our Young Marines train at close order drill & ceremony, color guard, and conduct rifle & sword drills in preparation for parades. Young Marines also learn about map-reading, Military history, physical fitness, nutrition, basic survival skills and receive extensive leadership training.
We are a values-based organization and take great pride in teaching our youth the great importance of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. These attributes, scarce in today’s society, set our members apart from their peers. Our Young Marines will ultimately graduate from within our ranks to set out on their own in life armed not only with an uncommon inner strength and high level of discipline, but also with a highly calibrated "moral-compass" to guide them.
